Yearly Membership Fee

The yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee is the fee paid by the Level 4 Active Member to retain his membership status, and commission rates, in the AEDOK.org Organization or the AEDOK.net Network.

If a yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee is not paid when a renewal is due, the new yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee is simply set to the lowest. Zero for AEDOK.org, $100 for AEDOK.net. Commissions are adjusted accordingly for subsequent sales. There is no penalty. No suspension. No hard feelings. Addionally for AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Members, member grants AEDOK certain intellectual property rights detailed below under AEDOK.org, and any and all commissions otherwise due the Level 4 Active Member shall instead be applied to the unpaid balance. If subsequently any yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee is paid, a new yearly cycle begins at that new fee rate. Addionally for AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Members, AEDOK retains the acquired certain intellectual property rights.

However, if any yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee is not paid in full within one year of due date, AEDOK reserves the right, at it's sole discretion, to either suspend-or-terminate the account-and-membership and subdomain, or suspend-or-terminate the account-and-membership but maintain the subdomain at its own expense, retaining 100% of all sales.

Percent Commission on Sales

The commission rate starts at 50% and decreases as the yearly fee paid increases. This allows one to start with no start-up cost except deposit for AEDOK.org Level 4 Active Members and only $100 per year for AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Members, and gradually reduce commission costs as business expands and grows.

AEDOK.org $100 deposit vs AEDOK.net $100 fee

Whether you become an AEDOK.org or an AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Membership, AEDOK must expend considerable efforts and energy. Each website has to be setup by a genuine human.

This is not typical hosting. As an AEDOK Level 4 Active Member we want you to prosper!

Accordingly, you are not on your own. AEDOK sets up a functional skeleton with a functional index page setup as a demo, which you then simply copy or modify for you own index page. AEDOK provides full analysis and instructions, and is available via email for any and all questions you might have for the proper establishment and integration of your website and domain into the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains.

AEDOK shall be offering for fee, various additional setup services, such as a $10/per page setup fee. But any questions you may have regarding these setups, including that for your initial index page (which is copyable) are free of charge.

This defacto consulting is potentially worth thousands of dollars. If you do not follow thru, where are we?

For AEDOK.org, all we ask is a good faith deposit of $100, an amount equal to what we charge outright for AEDOK.net

Any commissions that would otherwise be due AEDOK are first applied to this deposit for it's diminishment. Any purchases you make from any of the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains that may have nothing to do with your Level 4 Active Membership or on the other hand may be any of these addition services we have just mentioned, are applied to this deposit.

In this way, AEDOK has a modest security for the considerable facilities and services we provide you on little more than your word of intent. AEDOK provides the same services to AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Members but they have paid an outright $100 fee. So either way, each new Level 4 Active Member receives the facilities, efforts, and devotion of AEDOK and we receive some measure of security that each new member is indeed going to try.

Important Information Regarding Merchandise You May Have For Sale and The Intellectual Property Rights On The Content You Establish On Your AEDOK Sponsored Website

OVERVIEW

In exchange for sponsoring your intellectual or commercial activities on the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains, AEDOK requires certain rights. It is important that you fully understand the nature and scope of these certain rights to avoid any confusion, misunderstanding, or difficulties.

There are four(4) concepts that need to be clearly distinguished and understood, as follow: physical property rights, intellectual property rights, and regarding the second group intellectual property rights the two(2) distinctions of to whom a sale is being made and where a sale is being made. We shall discuss each of these four(4) distinctions in detail. Followed by both an analysis and a summary for clear comparison of the components.

Physical-Property Rights

AEDOK makes no claim on, and acquires NO interest in, any physical property rights. So, in other words, on any physical thing that you may be selling, we have no and claim no ownership or interest. Our certain rights are concerning only intellectual property rights as discussed next.

Intellectual Property Rights

AEDOK acquires an undivided interest in ANY and ALL intellectual property rights of any content the moment it appears on an AEDOK.org sponsored website. Because it is an undivided interest, it does not restrict or impede your interests in said intellectual property rights. So, to re-itterate, the certain rights we claim are solely intellectual property rights. Clearly, as an archive, AEDOK, the Archive for Education and Dissemination Of Knowledge, can not have it's content disappearing if a member terminates his relationship with us. The intellectual property rights enables AEDOK to maintain content, and sales thereon, once it has been established.

AEDOK acquires NO interest in ANY intellectual property rights of any content appearing on an AEDOK.net sponsored website (unless the account becomes delinquent, in which case, AEDOK does acquire said intellectual property rights). This is because AEDOK.net is more commercial, and there is no free-level. Our levels are modest, and attractive, there just isn't a free one. The rates are essentially just pushed up one notch because there is no free level. As long as a member is paying, he has a higher degree of independence. But should he become delinquent AEDOK must protect it's interests. So, to re-itterate, the certain rights we claim are solely intellectual property rights at AEDOK.org, not AEDOK.net (unless the AEDOK.net account becomes delinquent, in which case we do acquire said intellectual property rights). This enables one to still associate with AEDOK and utilize our facilities and sophisticated framesets, without granting AEDOK any intellectual property rights. Of course, we still get a commission based upon the rate schedule.

Next we must discuss to whom and where a sale is being made.

To Whom Is A Sale Made

Any surfer who first visits any of the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains, before he visits your independent non-AEDOK sponsored website, is an AEDOK Original Customer. And, if he subsequently visits your independent non-AEDOK sponsored website, of course, he may become your customer, but he remains an AEDOK Original Customer. The reverse is true also. if he visits your independent non-AEDOK sponsored website first, he becomes Your Original Customer and if he subsequently visits AEDOK, he may become an AEDOK customer, but he remains Your Original Customer. Naturally, if you have no independent non-AEDOK sponsored website of your own, then all customers must be AEDOK Original Customers. Next we will discuss where the sale takes place, and then to the percentage splits based upon your fees you pay AEDOK.

Where Is A Sale Made

This part is a no-brainer. If a sale takes place on any of the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains, then it is a an AEDOK location, otherwise it isn't.

How Does AEDOK Figure What Is Our Due?

In order to determine which sales are due a percentage split to AEDOK, all we need do is permute the three(3) components towit:

The fee selected by the Level 4 Active Member
The origin of the customer
The location of the sale.

This will result in eight(8) possibilities which we shall present as individual sentences, even though some can easily be combined. This allows one to see all the possibilities without fear of something being left out. The commission referred to is the commission associated with the fee selected by the Level 4 Active Member as show in The Yearly Level 4 Active Membership Fee vs Commission Rates Tables presented at the beginning of this page,

If Zero Fee and the sale is to a non AEDOK Original Customer at a non AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

If Zero Fee and the sale is to a non AEDOK Original Customer at an AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

If Zero Fee and the sale is to an AEDOK Original Customer at a non AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

If Zero Fee and the sale is to an AEDOK Original Customer at an AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

If Fee and the sale is to a non AEDOK Original Customer at a non AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives no commission.

If Fee and the sale is to a non AEDOK Original Customer at an AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

If Fee and the sale is to an AEDOK Original Customer at a non AEDOK location, then AEDOK receives a commission.

ANALYSIS

Notice, that in 7 out of 8 possibilities, AEDOK receives a commission. In the first half, the Level 4 Active Member pays no fee. AEDOK puts up up the resources, the Level 4 Active Member puts up the intellectual work product, and we split.

In the second half, the Level 4 Active Member does pay a fee. In this half of possibilities, if the customer is not an AEDOK Original Customer and the location of the sale is not an AEDOK location, only then are we not entitled to a commission, otherwise we are. Either because it's our customer, or it's our location, so we split.

Why is this? Joining the AEDOK Organization is much more than web hosting. The Level 4 Active Member is associating himself with our organization, utilizing our resources, techniques, and technologies, as well as a pool of customers who come to visit other Level 4 Active Member creations.

For those who want total independence, we shall be providing standard web hosting. It all depends on what one wants, what are the goals, and how does one intend to go about achieving them.

SUMMARY

AEDOK makes no claim on, and acquires NO interest in, any physical property rights.

By becoming and AEDOK.org Level 4 Active Member, said member grants to AEDOK an undivided interest in certain intellectual property rights and grants commissions on sales. This undivided interest does not diminish member's interests or rights, but rather, ensures that AEDOK may continue to utilize and market content once it has been established.

By becoming and AEDOK.net Level 4 Active Member, said member does NOT grant to AEDOK an undivided interest in certain intellectual property rights but does grantcommissions on sales, unless he becomes delinquent, in which case said member grants to AEDOK an undivided interest in certain intellectual property rights in partial compensation for the fees he had agreed to pay but has not.

By purchasing from AEDOK standard web hosting not related to AEDOK.org or AEDOK.net, and therefore not actually becoming a part of the AEDOK Suitetm of Websites & Domains, said purchaser does NOT grant to AEDOK an undivided interest in certain intellectual property rights and does NOT grant commissions on sales.
